The niche he's supposed to fill is one that simply doesn't exist.Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realms is an official Dungeons & Dragons idle game. Regular armored enemies are practically a joke compared to armored-health enemies, and that would be where Binwin would shine if he were in just about any other slot - the damage you sacrifice to add him to your party is far greater than any gains you make against said armored-health enemies. If you replace either of them with Binwin, nobody else not already in the party will have anywhere near that kind of boost to add back. Gromma and Nayeli are both fantastic group buffers - both capable of increasing the group's damage output 1000x (not 1000%, but 1000x). The issue with Binwin is with whom he competes. But better than say Dhadius (who has exactly ONE variant that he fits in. but that's where we learnt what he was good at. ![]() I suppose if you were sufficiently geared you didn't. Others may find there could be some competition for absolute worst depending on your gear, but I am confident he is going to be near the bottom of the barrel for pretty much anybody. So I stand by my claim that he is the worst champion in the game. My wall with Binwin is 35 areas below my wall with Farideh, and 55 areas below my wall with Arkhan. He has the lowest wall of any "dps" champ I have tried, even Delina got farther and got there faster because she didn't have to wait for a high multi-attack roll to kill things. Using a decent dps champ, a click potion will keep trash cleared significantly beyond the point at which Binwin is capable of killing anything at all, allowing you to freely kill segmented targets with any attacks. If they are not armored, any other dps champ will do the job. If they are armored, he can't damage them at all because his damage is so much lower than any other choice, so he is completely useless. I find him to be the least useful of all champs in all situations including against segmented health enemies. I can tell you I * have* sunsequently used him on the 50x level tyrannosaurus boss guy in Running the Saurs - for example. His specials 'more damage to segmented bosses' and 'more attacks' result in his specialisation being those exact boss types. He *does* have a place, and that place is 'multi-segmented boss types'.
